On the heels of a Saturday night series-opening win, the University of Hawai‘i baseball team made it four straight victories with a dominant 16-0 rout of UC Davis in a Sunday matinee at Les Murakami Stadium.

The Rainbow Warriors (16-4) secured their second consecutive series win and continued to roll behind the return of senior shortstop Jordan Donahue, who shined in his second game back just four weeks after surgery to repair a fractured hamate bone in his right hand. Donahue went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and made an immediate impact defensively, helping UH escape a bases-loaded jam in the first inning with a smooth 6-4-3 double play. “Being out with an injury is tough,” Donahue said. “But it was all about being a good teammate and getting healthy. Now that I’m back, I’m just trying to slow the game down and enjoy every pitch. There’s nothing like playing at Les Murakami Stadium.”
