2024 Cross Country State Championships 

Congratulations to senior Jaelyn Natividad and freshmen Keitlin Tomomitsu and Ashton-Hiapo Santos on qualifying and competing in the 2024 Cross Country State Championships on Maui! 

This weekend, Jaelyn, Keitlin, and Ashton proudly represented Damien at the 2024 Cross Country State Championships on Maui. We commend them for their outstanding efforts and achievements!

In the girls’ 3.1-mile championship race with 197 runners, Jaelyn placed 117th with a time of 23:39.36, breaking her season record by an impressive 37 seconds. Keitlin followed closely, placing 110th with a time of 23:33.57, just 11 seconds shy of her personal best.

In the boys' 3.1-mile championship race of 199 runners, Ashton finished 98th with a personal best of 18:50.92, improving his record by 6 seconds.

Qualifying and competing at the state level is a tremendous achievement, reflecting the athletes’ hard work and dedication throughout the season. It’s a testament to their commitment and brings pride and recognition to both them and our school community. Congratulations once again to Jaelyn, Keitlin, and Ashton!
