2024 XCountry - CORP Championship

Congratulations to all our JV and Varsity runners who competed in their respective championship races yesterday at CORP! You have all represented Damien well!

This year, our state qualifiers are freshmen Keitlin Tomomitsu and Ashton Hiapo-Santos. Senior Jaelyn Natividad also qualified as an alternate. A big congratulations to all three of you, and we wish you the best as you prepare to race against the top 200 girls and boys in the state of Hawai'i on Saturday, November 2nd in Maui!

A special shoutout to our boys' JV team for placing 5th out of a total of 7 scoring teams in the ILH, beating out Maryknoll and Mid-Pacific Institute!

Another special shoutout goes to Senior Noah Tapec for stepping up to race as an alternate in the Varsity Championship, and to freshmen Luka Manansala and Maveryck Pascua for stepping up as alternates in the JV Championship—each competing in their first-ever 5K!

A big thanks to everyone who came out to cheer on our runners and a special thank you to the families of Jonah Cachuela, Kayla Morigawara, and Olivia Ng for bringing drinks and snacks for the team!
