Damien Memorial School Students Take a Stand During “No More Week”
During the first full week of March, communities across the country come together to recognize “No More Week,” a national initiative aimed at raising awareness and ending domestic violence and sexual assault.
Students from Damien Memorial School, Theology 11, took part in this important cause—standing in spirit and quite literally at the forefront. These students are also reaching out lawmakers, making baskets for twenty women & children currently in shelters, and sending out 30 sec PSA to increase awareness and support.
We are called to live out the values of St. Damien of Molokai by serving others and advocating for justice. Through their participation in “No More Week,” our students embodied these values, reminding us all that even small actions can lead to greater awareness and change. We are reminded that raising awareness is only the beginning. “No More Week” challenges us all to remain vigilant, speak up when we see injustice, and support those who may feel voiceless. We encourage everyone in our school community to continue these conversations beyond this week and commit to making a lasting impact.
