School Closure on 1/30 due to weather

Faculty & Staff:  Please UNPLUG your electronics and close your windows securely.  If you have outdoor areas, please secure or move any equipment that may pose a hazard.  Please monitor your emails for further updates.  Mahalo.

Aloha kākou,

Based on the Honolulu National Weather Service Severe Weather Advisory as of 2:30pm on 1/29/2025, high wind warnings  (60 mph winds expected) remain in effect from 6pm today to 6am on Friday and flood advisories from 6pm today until 6pm on Friday in our school area.  Property damage, power outages, and hazardous driving conditions are anticipated.

Out of an abundance of caution and safety for our school community, Damien Memorial School administration has made the decision to close school tomorrow, 1/30/2025.  Please check the school website and emails for further updates.  All athletic events, practices and games on campus will be cancelled for tomorrow. 

We will be rescheduling the talent show to a later date.
