Student Share a Wonderful Experience at 2023 Maui Invitational

The Lahaina Civic Center, which traditionally hosted the Maui Invitational, has been repurposed to serve as a hub for wildfire recovery efforts. As a result, the 2023 Allstate Maui Invitational was relocated to the Simplifi Arena on the campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

DMS Athletic Director, Shawn Sueoka, reach out to the tournament administrators and made arrangements for our boys' and girls' basketball team members to step up and assist with the event. The DMS student volunteers showed up in full force and had a wonderful experience in assisting with the tournament's success. We are proud of our students for rising to the challenge and representing our school with excellence.
