About Us

The Legion of Mary is a lay family who, “with the sanction of the Church (and Damien Memorial School), and under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Grace, serve the Church, school, and their neighbor on a voluntary basis” (Legion of Mary).

The Legion of Mary “through this opportunity of faith, development and service” hopes to “foster devotion to Mary … through commitment to service and formation of the community” (Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brother Education, II, Proclaims and Witnesses to its Catholic Identity).
