Foodland’s Give Aloha Program

Aloha Damien Memorial School Ohana,

Foodland’s Give Aloha Program starts today, September 1 through September 30, 2022. With many requests on your resources, please know that we are grateful for any gift you can share.

Here’s how the program works:

-      At Foodland, Sack N Save or Foodland Farms checkout, present your Maika’i card to donate and designate Damien Memorial School, #77030, as the receiving organization. If you do not have a Maika’i card, you can establish one at checkout.

-      Donations of up to $249 per organization made with your Maika’i card will be partially matched by Foodland and Western Union Foundation. These marching funds will also be given to Damien.

-      All donations are tax-deductible. Keep your donation receipt for your tax records.

-      To be individually acknowledged for your gift, please mail your receipt to Damien’s Advancement Office at 1401 Houghtailing St., Honolulu, HI 96817.

To increase available matching funds, Foodland added these features this year:

-      Donate 250 Maika‘i points to make a $5 donation to Give Aloha.

-      Purchase Give Aloha merchandise designed by local artist Shar Tuiasoa of Punky Aloha.

-      Donate spare change in coin cannisters at checkout.

-      Round up grocery purchases and donate the difference to Give Aloha.

In honor of our 60th Anniversary, please consider making a $60 donation. Your support gives a child access to a Monarch education. Viriliter Age!

With warm mahalo,

Liza C. Lee, MBA

Director of Advancement
